Hey 👋 I am Lucas, Design Team Lead at Hey Digital, and I am super excited to let you know that we're looking for an Motion Graphic Designer to join our team! Hey Digital is a B2B SaaS Performance Marketing Agency that has partnered with some of the hottest companies in the industry like PostHog, Hotjar, Toggl and Pitch (to name a few). We also run Hey Design , our new subscription-based design service, delivering world-class designs to companies like Instantly, Kilo Code and Aikido. We have an incredible, fully remote team (20 countries and counting!) of Performance Marketers, Designers, Project Managers and hopefully... you? 😉 This role is perfect for you if: ✅ You have 2+ years of hands-on video/motion animation experience with a reel showing finished short-form ads or social motion work, not just transition showreels ✅ You're looking for a full-time, remote position with a salary range of €1500 to €2500 per month. ✅ You're comfortable with a continuous independent contractor agreement (not an employment contract or EOR). ✅ You have concrete experience with AI video-generation tools (Higgsfield, Veo, Runway, or similar) ✅ You love the idea of working with people from all over the world. ✅ You have what it takes to be part of a team delivering a world-class service to top-tier clients. About the role 🦸 Responsibilities: Animate video ads and motion graphics for paid social, landing pages, and digital campaigns Turn briefs and static designs into finished, on-brand animated assets Nail the first 3 seconds of every video so it stops the scroll (motion from frame one, works with sound off, hook up front) Animate in After Effects when the work needs full control over timing, movement, and effects Use AI video-generation tools (Higgsfield, Veo, and similar) to speed up production and create new kinds of motion Experiment with newer tools like Figma Motion and Jitter to find faster ways to produce and export work Export platform-ready files that hit the right specs (dimensions, frame rates, file size, format) Keep files clean and well-organized so anyone can pick them up and iterate later General design admin work such as exporting assets, organising files in Google Drive, and keeping ClickUp up to date. Take feedback and turn around revisions quickly 📌 Requirements: 2+ years of hands-on video/motion animation experience Demonstrates advanced After Effects skill through the work shown or described (timing, easing, effects, clean execution) Experience with AI video-generation tools Reel or answers show a strong instinct for hooks and pacing, especially in the opening seconds of a video Communicates clearly and works self-directed, with evidence of hitting deadlines in a fast-paced or agency setting Great attention to detail and understanding of design principles (e.g. unity, alignment, hierarchy, emphasis, contrast, balance, spacing/negative space, margin & padding) Excellent English communication skills, as you will be working with people from around the globe. Reliable WiFi connection, as all work will be carried out remotely ⭐️ Really nice-to-haves: Experience with ClickUp & Slack. Ability and excitement to use AI to deliver faster, better results. You have worked in a digital marketing agency. Experience with newer motion tools like Figma Motion and Jitter (or a track record of picking up unfamiliar tools fast) Basic design skills in Figma, enough to prep or tweak assets before animating Some 3D or Cinema 4D / Blender experience for adding depth and variety to motion work A sense for what makes ads convert, not just what looks good Sound design or music-syncing chops for the videos that get unmuted Why work at Hey Digital?
