Motor Claims FNOL Agent Job Location: Dublin – Hybrid. Remote working considered . Job Type: Permanent Remuneration : Competitive salary taking into account skills, experience and qualifications Join our team as a Motor Claims FNOL Agent, supporting customers from first notification through to claim registration and triage while delivering an outstanding claims experience. As a Motor Claims FNOL Agent, you will be the first point of contact for customers reporting motor claims, ensuring every notification is handled efficiently, accurately and with a strong focus on customer service. Working within a fast-paced claims environment, you will gather and assess claim information, register claims and ensure they are allocated appropriately for further handling. You will play a key role in the triage and assessment of motor claims, capturing accurate information, asking probing questions where required and ensuring high-quality data is recorded from the outset. Your ability to identify customer needs and promote relevant support services will help enhance the overall claims experience. The role involves liaising with a range of stakeholders, including policyholders, claimants, brokers, third-party representatives, internal technical experts and aligned service providers. You will ensure that appropriate documentation is issued promptly, instructions are provided to suppliers and all claim records are maintained to the highest standard. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to remain organised and focused while working under pressure. You will enjoy working as part of a collaborative team and will be supported in your ongoing development through mentoring, training and career progression opportunities. The skills you will have when you apply: Claims or Insurance Experience - Previous experience within insurance, broking, claims handling or a customer-focused environment is advantageous but not essential. Insurance Qualifications - APA qualification, or working towards APA, is desirable. Candidates without qualifications who demonstrate a strong aptitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Motor Claims Knowledge - Understanding of motor claims processes, policy structures and claims classifications would be beneficial. Communication Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, brokers and colleagues. Customer Focus - Committed to delivering excellent customer service and creating positive customer outcomes. Organisation & Attention to Detail - Highly organised with strong administrative skills and a commitment to data accuracy and quality. Problem Solving & Decision Making - Able to assess information, identify appropriate next steps and make informed decisions within agreed processes. Technology Skills - Confident using databases and IT systems, with strong data entry and record management capabilities. Teamwork & Collaboration - A proactive team player who works effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across the business. Adaptability & Resilience - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and maintaining a positive approach under pressure.
