Join Our Team as a Multifamily Transactional Attorney at Axiom Location: Remote We are seeking a Multifamily Transactional Attorney with significant multifamily and real estate finance experience to join our team. In this role, you will focus on negotiating loan documents, advising on financing transactions, and working directly with borrowers and outside counsel. The ideal candidate will bring strong lender-side experience and an understanding of the full lifecycle of financed real estate transactions. Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate finance and loan documents. Lead negotiations and independently manage interactions with outside counsel. Work directly with borrowers and their counsel to address and resolve transaction issues. Provide legal support across multifamily real estate financing matters. Apply an understanding of the financing and closing process throughout the transaction lifecycle. Collaborate closely with the team and outside counsel in a remote environment. Qualifications: 8+ years of relevant legal experience in commercial real estate and finance. Significant multifamily real estate experience, with conventional multifamily experience particularly relevant. Strong real estate finance background, including lender representation and loan document negotiation. Meaningful deal negotiation experience and the ability to independently negotiate with outside counsel. Experience across the full lifecycle of financed real estate transactions, including financing and closing processes. Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction. Preferred Skills: Agency lending experience. Borrower-facing experience working directly with borrowers and their counsel. Combination of law firm and in-house legal experience. Experience representing or negotiating across different sides of real estate finance transactions. Additional Requirements: Candidates must be comfortable working remotely and integrating closely with the team and outside counsel. The role requires in-person attendance approximately once per quarter and equipment pickup on the first day in either Reston, VA or Plano, TX. Compensation: The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
