Job Summary

The Music Content Editor is a freelance role responsible for editing and polishing machine-translated English-to-Korean materials related to music. The role focuses on ensuring accurate terminology, natural language flow, and cultural appropriateness in the localized content.

Key Accountabilities

· Understanding the context and content of the given music-related material

· Reviewing and editing MTPE (machine-translated post-edited) text to ensure clarity, accuracy, and readability

· Researching industry-specific terminology related to music

· Proofreading to correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation

· Collaborating with the team to maintain consistency in tone and style

Education and Qualifications

· Korean speaker with strong English skills

· Bachelor's degree or above

· Background in music or relevant field is required

· Experience in translation, localization, or MTPE is a plus

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

· Excellent command of both Korean and English (verbal and written)

· Familiarity with music terminology and concepts

· Proficiency in CAT tools or machine translation platforms is a plus

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output

· Self-motivated with a proactive attitude

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
