Responsibilities: Develop and maintain robust back-end systems and architectures for payment processing and financial services Design and implement integrations with payment networks and financial messaging infrastructure (SWIFT, SEPA/Centrolink) Work with ISO 20022 message schemas (pacs, pain, camt) to build compliant payment flows Integrate and optimize back-end services using domain-driven design with hexagonal architecture Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent architecture and enhanced performance Implement and oversee integration of workflow orchestration tools like Temporal.io Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment Required experience: Hands-on experience in back-end development Strong proficiency in TypeScript and back-end frameworks like NestJS Solid understanding of payment systems, clearing and settlement processes, and financial messaging standards (ISO 20022) Experience integrating with payment networks or financial infrastructure providers (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA CSMs, national clearing houses) Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and database design Familiarity with implementing authentication protocols and identity management Strong experience designing and implementing both synchronous and asynchronous (REST) APIs Proficient understanding of communication protocols and architecture patterns: WebSocket, REST, Queues, and Event-Driven Architecture Your benefits: Fully remote work (located in Europe appreciated) Minimal bureaucracy and quick decision-making processes Excellent working atmosphere in a young and diverse team (average age 25-35 years)
