What You Will Do
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME), partnering with Finance, Treasury, Transaction Operations, and Product to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable, SOX-compliant technical solutions;
- Architect, design, develop, and optimize custom NetSuite solutions (SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, custom records), ensuring data integrity across financial modules (GL, AR, AP);;
- Own and optimize high-performance integrations between NetSuite and key financial systems (Coupa, Concur, Stripe) using SuiteTalk, RESTlets, and integration middleware;
- Execute rigorous unit, system integration, and performance testing to certify solutions meet SLAs and SOX controls before deployment;
- Collaborate with teams and act as incident commander when needed to troubleshoot complex production issues, focusing on root cause resolution and system stability during month-end close;
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide expert-level technical support for critical production incidents;
- Enforce SDLC best practices including source control (Git), code reviews, and change management controls auditable per SOX requirements.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals — object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithm design;
- Proven professional software development experience, with substantial focus on NetSuite development (SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk);
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting and experience in a SOX-compliant environment;
- Strong understanding of NetSuite architecture and customization options;
- Proficiency in SuiteScript, including RESTlets, Map/Reduce Scripts, and User Event Scripts;
- Experience with integration tools such as SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, and Web Services;
- Experience with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF);
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools;
- Experience with testing and quality assurance best practices;
- Familiarity with OIC/OCI and Oracle Fusion, given the client's transformation contex.
Nice To Have
- Experience with SuiteAnalytics and/or SuiteQL;
- Familiarity with the Jest testing framework.
