Role Summary

We’re seeking a NetSuite Functional Consultant to lead and support client NetSuite implementations, migrations, optimizations, and integrations (e.g., billing, payroll/HRIS, expense, CRM). You’ll work across PIF Advisory’s diverse client base—fund managers, emerging growth companies, and multi-entity global orgs—translating business requirements into a clean, auditable NetSuite environment. Engagement can be full-time or part-time (contract or employee) and is 100% remote. The ability to collaborate across time zones and work overlap hours with U.S. teams is important.

The ideal candidate is client-facing, detail-oriented, and energized by untangling messy data, mapping processes, and getting finance teams live on NetSuite quickly and correctly. You take ownership, communicate clearly, and thrive in fast-moving, high-expectation environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support NetSuite new implementations & migrations (re-platforming from QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, legacy ERPs).
• Work with clients and internal team members to gather & translate business, accounting, and reporting requirements into NetSuite configuration
• Manage data migrations (opening balances, static records, historical transactions) leading practices with the ability to work the reconciliation with the Finance team.
• Configure core financial and operating modules: Financials, OneWorld, Warehouse Management and Retail, Manufacturing, Procurement, Order Management, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Revenue Recognition and Advanced Project Management.
• Design and map integrations with Technical Teams to adjacent systems (Bill.com, Rippling, OCR technologies, HubSpot/CRM, Shopify, Bank feeds, data warehouse/iPaaS, and common Ecommerce platforms).
• Build dashboards, saved searches, and reports for finance leadership and stakeholders.
• Establish controls & approval workflows aligned to audit (maker-checker) and regulatory needs.
• Train client end-users; develop light SOPs / quick-start guides.
• Troubleshoot post-go-live issues; execute phased enhancements and optimizations.
• Partner with PIF Advisory engagement leads, accountants, developers and ops teams to ensure timelines, scope, and deliverables stay on track.
• Contribute to internal implementation playbooks, templates, and process improvements.
