Network Engineer

Responsibilities Sentinel Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Network Support Engineer with CCNA level expertise in Routing and Switching. This is a high-impact role requiring deep technical knowledge, and strong customer engagement skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced enterprise environment and play a key role in supporting and optimizing complex network infrastructures. This is a full-time remote role with occasional on-site support at the Downers Grove, Illinois office. Qualifications CCNA certification or equivalent hands-on expertise is required Experience in network engineering/support Basic understanding of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, etc.) Familiar with firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and F5 load balancers Ability to troubleshoot network issues in production environments Excellent communication and customer-facing skills The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude We focus on candidates that display our “ACE” factor – Attitude, Compassion, and Enthusiasm to deliver quality solutions with exceptional customer service.
