Perform firewall rule creation, modification, and cleanup in accordance with existing change management processes and least-privilege principles. Troubleshoot network security issues involving routing, NAT, VPN (site-to-site and remote access), and security policy conflicts. Escalate complex Level 3 issues to senior engineers or vendor support as needed, while owning resolution of standard L1/L2 tickets independently. Monitor firewall health, performance, and logs; identify and remediate anomalies or misconfigurations. Log, update, and manage tickets through their full lifecycle in ServiceNow , ensuring accurate status tracking and SLA adherence. Document troubleshooting steps and root cause analysis to support knowledge transfer. Support firewall policy audits and rule cleanup/recertification activities during the engagement.
