Network Security Consultant

Role Description This is a temporary, remote role for a Network Security Consultant. The Network Security Consultant will assess existing network and security architectures, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend improvements aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include performing security audits, configuring and fine-tuning security tools, monitoring network traffic and security events, and troubleshooting complex issues across heterogeneous environments.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Network Security and Network Architecture to design, assess, and optimize secure network environments.
• Proficiency in Cybersecurity and Information Security to implement controls, manage risks, and support compliance initiatives.
• Group Policies and GPOs knowledge
• Vulnerability Management
• Ethical Hacker is a plus
• Advanced Troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and resolving complex network and security issues across diverse infrastructures.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, CEH) are an advantage.
