Job Description
This is a remote position.
The selected consultant will join an existing 15-person team supporting LAN, WAN (including SD-WAN), and Wi-Fi infrastructure. Primary responsibilities include gathering customer requirements, designing solutions (HLD, LLD, Run Books) according to customer standards, and collaborating with deployment teams. The role supports a major routing migration across all sites from Zscaler to Palo Alto. Strong communication skills and proficiency in English are essential.
Requirements
Support LAN, WAN (including SD-WAN), and Wi-Fi infrastructure for the customer.
Gather customer requirements and create documentation (High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Run Books) following customer standards.
Collaborate with deployment teams.
Primary focus on solution gathering and design (minimal support on actual migrations, occasional support on service or topology changes).
Support the routing migration project across all customer sites from Zscaler to Palo Alto.
Technical Requirements:
Cisco CCNA
certification or equivalent knowledge.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Cisco Routing & Switching technologies.
Practical hands-on experience with Cisco hardware (routers, switches) and basic Cisco CLI commands.
Working knowledge of network protocols:
OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, STP
.
Ability to perform basic-to-intermediate network configuration, fault identification, and hardware diagnostics.
Soft Skills:
English: Good command in spoken and written communication (reading technical documentation, direct interaction with customer and India team).
Detail-oriented, accurate, and capable of working independently.
Team player with strong customer-facing communication skills.
Willingness to develop and pursue further certifications (e.g., CCNP in the future).
