The News Anchor will present live and pre-recorded news segments, introduce reports and interviews, and provide clear, engaging delivery across digital and broadcast platforms. Daily responsibilities include reviewing scripts, collaborating with editors and reporters, and preparing for broadcasts by researching background information and key developments. The role involves working closely with the newsroom to ensure accurate, timely reporting, as well as adapting tone and style for different formats such as live streams, video bulletins, and special coverage. The News Anchor may also participate in promotional content, social media appearances, and audience engagement initiatives aligned with Attlas Wire’s editorial standards. Qualifications
Strong broadcast journalism foundation, including Broadcasting and Broadcast Journalism skills.
Proficiency in Reporting and News Writing with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and ethical standards.
Demonstrated Presenter skills, including on-camera presence, clear articulation, and audience engagement.
Excellent verbal communication, editorial judgment, and ability to handle breaking news calmly and professionally.
Experience working with digital media platforms, live streaming tools, or remote production environments.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional editorial teams and work independently in a remote setting.
Familiarity with current affairs, global news, business, technology, and social issues is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or relevant experience in news anchoring or reporting.
