A Day in the Life We are looking for a technically curious intern to join the Endoscopy Operating Unit field team in the Netherlands. In this role, you will support hospitals and healthcare professionals in the use of endoscopy technologies while learning from experienced field team members. During the internship, you will gain hands-on experience with clinical software, medical device setup, basic troubleshooting, and customer support in hospital environments. You will also learn how to collaborate with healthcare professionals and hospital IT teams, while developing technical, communication, and problem-solving skills within a regulated healthcare environment. Internship details: Start date: October 2026 Duration: 6 months Working hours: 40 hours per week Work model: approximately 70% field-based activities, including customer visits across the Netherlands, and 30% home-based or office-based work. The intern will have opportunities to accompany experienced field team members on customer visits as part of their learning and development. Location: preferably in the Amsterdam, Maastricht, or Heerlen area, although candidates from other locations within the Netherlands are encouraged to apply Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Support the Endoscopy field team with technical activities in hospitals and clinical environments Assist the Endoscopy field team in working with healthcare professionals, including technicians, nurses, and doctors, during system use and implementation. Assist with clinical software setup, configuration, and basic troubleshooting Work with hospital IT teams on connectivity, LAN setup, and related technical requirements Document customer interactions, technical issues, actions taken, and follow-up steps accurately Build hands-on experience in customer communication and field support within a regulated healthcare environment Required Knowledge and Skills: Currently in the studies, with graduation in 2027, 2028, 2029 Degree in Engineering, Biomechanics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, or similar Based in the Netherlands, preferably but not mandatory in the Amsterdam, Maastricht, or Heerlen area Fluency in English Good knowledge of Windows operating systems W illingness to travel within the Netherlands. Travel may include accompanying experienced field team members on customer visits as part of the internship experience.
