About our Engineering Team: ✅ We like to experiment (since we’re innovating sometimes, it makes sense) with new technologies and stacks, but for now, we’ve settled with: TypeScript – Next.js (end-to-end) Prisma ORM - Planetscale ✅ We like to use: React – Tailwind CSS (latest versions) for our frontend needs We leverage Next.js (also latest versions) for its amazing routing system, caching, SSR support, and better DX overall ✅ We keep our backend functions as lean as possible (again, same argument applies: we’re innovating in the ways we store our assessments, our tests, and so on) because we like to move fast. This is why we have our backend deployed using: Serverless functions on Vercel (also using Next.js) ✅ We believe that innovation , continuous iterations , and resilience are what move the needle forward. The Role: We’re looking for a Mid-Senior Level Back-End Node.js Software Engineer to help build the core systems that power our platform. You'll work closely with a cross-functional team to develop serverless APIs, integrate with internal tools, and improve the scalability and performance of our backend infrastructure. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working across the stack, understands modern serverless architecture, and wants to contribute to meaningful software with real-world impact. 💪 What You’ll Need to Bring: 3–5 years of professional experience in back-end development Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript , including API development Experience with backend frameworks such as Nest.js or Express.js Familiarity with serverless architectures (e.g., Vercel Functions , AWS Lambda ) Experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs Comfortable working with ORMs such as Prisma , and relational databases like MySQL or PlanetScale Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals: testing, version control, CI/CD, and clean code practices Ability to collaborate closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and designers Familiarity with modern development workflows (Git, code reviews, agile sprints, etc.) Good communication skills and a proactive mindset ✨ Bonus Points For Experience With: Familiarity with Next.js API routes or full-stack Next.js applications Experience working in re-commerce, marketplace, or logistics domains Background with observability tools (e.g., Sentry, Datadog, LogRocket) Experience working with feature flag systems or experimentation frameworks Comfort with basic DevOps tasks or infrastructure-as-code setups (e.g., Vercel, Docker, Terraform) 🎁 What We Offer: Competitive full-time salary A hybrid model of work: at the office or at home Private health insurance Self-development budget for online courses, books, summits, etc. Refurbished MacBook, smartphone, and top-of-the-line equipment A great opportunity to grow at a fast-scaling re-commerce startup
