Role Overview This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role as a Non-Executive Director in Switzerland. You will provide independent oversight and guidance to the Board, influencing strategy and risk management. This part-time, fully remote role offers the chance to make a significant impact within a scaling fintech company. Key Responsibilities Provide independent oversight and guidance to the Board and executive management on strategy, risk, and overall direction. Contribute to Board-level oversight of governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Attend and actively participate in Board meetings, reviewing materials, minutes, and resolutions. Support the Board on matters relating to corporate governance, financial oversight, and stakeholder interests. Advise on major corporate decisions as they arise, such as strategic initiatives, partnerships, and funding. Help safeguard the interests of shareholders and other stakeholders, ensuring high standards of business ethics. Requirements Experience serving as a Non-Executive Director, Board Member, or senior executive, ideally within financial services, fintech, or a related industry. Be based in Switzerland, with an established professional network and standing within the Swiss fintech industry. Understanding of corporate governance principles and Board-level responsibilities. Familiarity with the Swiss regulatory and corporate environment is an advantage. Track record of sound judgment and decision-making at a senior or Board level. Languages: English Experience in fintech Key Soft Skills Independent-minded with strong judgment and the confidence to challenge management constructively. High personal integrity and a strong commitment to good governance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
