We are seeking an experienced NZ Commercial & Partnerships Director to lead the commercial performance and growth of our New Zealand business.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving PetSure's New Zealand commercial agenda through strategic partnerships, distribution channels and market opportunities.

As PetSure's senior commercial representative in New Zealand, you will lead key partner relationships, identify new growth opportunities, influence business decisions and ensure the New Zealand market is effectively represented across ANZ forums.

Working remotely and autonomously, you will combine commercial leadership, business development and market insight to deliver sustainable growth while strengthening PetSure's position within the New Zealand market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial performance of PetSure's New Zealand business across strategic partnerships and distribution channels.
• Develop and execute initiatives that drive partner performance, customer growth and commercial outcomes.
• Manage and grow key strategic relationships with large highly-regarded NZ brands
• Identify, negotiate and implement new partnership and distribution opportunities.
• Develop commercial propositions and business cases that create value for PetSure and its partners.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of new business and market development opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product, Pricing, Marketing and Customer teams to deliver successful go-to-market initiatives.
• Provide market insight and recommendations that inform ANZ pricing, product, partnership and investment decisions.
• Represent PetSure within the New Zealand market, building strong relationships with partners, industry stakeholders and key decision-makers.
  
  
  

About You

You are a commercially astute relationship builder with a track record of delivering growth through partnerships, distribution and market development.

You'll bring:

• Significant experience in strategic partnerships, business development, commercial leadership or market development roles.
• Strong understanding of partnership-led distribution models and enterprise partnerships.
• Proven ability to originate, negotiate and execute complex commercial agreements.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally.
• Strong commercial acumen across pricing, distribution, customer acquisition and partner economics.
• Demonstrated success delivering commercial outcomes in a matrix environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Deep knowledge of the New Zealand market and commercial landscape.
• Experience within insurance, financial services or another regulated industry will be highly regarded.
