Role and Responsibilities : Please note that this is a part time seasonal/temporary position, beginning in early October 2026 and continuing through mid-January 2027. As the Seasonal Oak Essentials Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities include the following: Deliver thoughtful, personalized customer support across email, live chat, and phone Assist customers with order questions, shipping and delivery, returns and exchanges, subscriptions, cancellations, promotions, rewards, and other account-related needs Provide knowledgeable product guidance and recommendations based on individual customer needs Resolve customer concerns with care, sound judgment, and a solutions-oriented approach Stay current on products, promotions, policies, and CX processes Maintain Oak Essentials’ brand voice and service standards across every customer interaction Qualifications and Requirements: 1–2+ years of customer experience, preferably within ecommerce, retail, beauty, skincare, or a related consumer brand Knowledge and experience with POS, CRM and Inventory Management systems, Microsoft Office, Gladly, Shopify etc. Strong written and verbal communication skills A warm, polished communication style with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple customer conversations and priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use good judgment when resolving customer concerns Comfortable learning and speaking confidently about skincare products, ingredients, routines, and recommendations Reliable, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment Flexible availability to support the business during peak periods, including weekends and holidays as needed Additional Notes: This job description is not all inclusive.
