Odoo Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and results-driven Mid-Level Odoo Developer with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience to join our growing tech team. In this completely remote role, you will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining tailored Odoo ERP solutions across various business modules. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and key stakeholders to deliver scalable applications that drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Module Development & Customization: Design, code, test, and deploy custom Odoo modules and business workflows aligned with business requirements.
• Core ERP Enhancements: Overhaul and extend existing core Odoo applications (Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, Purchase, HR, etc.).
• API & System Integration: Develop and maintain robust RESTful / JSON-RPC APIs to integrate Odoo with external platforms, payment gateways, e-commerce, and third-party services.
• Database Optimization: Design efficient PostgreSQL queries, models, and ORM methods to ensure optimal system speed and data integrity.
• UI/UX & Reporting: Build dynamic front-end views using JavaScript, XML, HTML/CSS, and design custom QWeb reports.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve technical bugs, perform system upgrades, and optimize application performance.
• Collaboration: Partner with project managers and client teams to translate functional specifications into practical technical solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven software development experience specializing in Odoo development (Community & Enterprise editions).

Core Technical Stack:

• Expert proficiency in Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database design and Odoo ORM.
• Hands-on experience with XML, QWeb, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Version Control & Tools: Strong familiarity with Git repository management and CI/CD workflows.
• API Integration: Hands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful and JSON-RPC APIs.
• OS & Deployment: Solid understanding of Linux/Ubuntu environments, server configuration, and deployment processes.
• Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
