The Industrial Accidents Division is looking for a hardworking problem solver with great communication skills to fill its part time Office Specialist II- Return Utah position. This position requires three days in the office. Return Utah The Return Utah program is similar to an internship designed for adults looking to re-enter the workforce after an extended absence. These opportunities are structured as return-to-work positions that provide the experience, training, skills, and mentoring an individual needs to return to the workforce. Return Utah is a 16-week program for people who have taken a career break for at least one year or more for reasons such as starting or raising a family, caring for a family member, chronic illness, enhanced education, other personal/career related needs, etc. Those serving, separated, or retired from military service and their spouses and/or partners are not required to meet the one-year requirement. A career break of any length makes them eligible to participate in the program. This is a part-time, experience-only Return Utah opportunity. Key Responsibilities Day-to-day responsibilities of this position: In this position you will work with several stakeholders, and will oversee the Industrial Accident Division records. This includes: Prepares and/or processes record request documents; reviews documents for accuracy and completeness. Retrieves data found in databases to generate requested record request reports. Analyzes, summarizes and/or reviews data. Providing backup assistance to the compliance team. Identifies problems or potential problem areas and recommends solutions. Qualifications Minimum or "day-one" qualifications: 2+ years of experience in a public-facing customer service role. 2+ years of experience working in an office performing clerical duties. 2+ years of experience producing professional communications, such as letters and emails, and responding timely to written inquiries with clarity and accuracy. 1+ years of experience working with databases and inputting or managing data, ensuring accuracy. 1+ years working with Microsoft Word and Excel, and/or Google Drive, Docs, Sheets. Preferred or trainable/on-the-job qualifications: Preferences may be given to applicants with Workers Compensation experience.
