About the role: Rabobank’s Global Service Centre, Asia Pacific, based in Sydney, provides operational support to Wholesale & Treasury businesses & their clients across the Asia Pacific region. The Lending and Agency team within Corporate Banking Services performs all aspects of loan processing, reconciliation, fees, settlement and confirmations processes. As Officer, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, & compliant payment & account services for Wholesale Banking clients across the Asia Pacific region. Operating within a regional market environment - supporting Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong & Singapore - the role ensures smooth execution of domestic & cross border transactions & upholds the bank’s commitment to secure & reliable payment operations. The team works Monday to Friday from 12:30pm to 9pm so you must be willing & able to work hours these hours to support the Asia time zone. As we have a hybrid work environment, you will work a mix of days in the office & days from home. Top Role Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Monitor end-to-end transaction flows & resolve issues promptly to minimise disruption Maintain high standards of accuracy, completeness, timeliness and reliability in all operational activities within SLAs Monitor system interfaces to ensure accurate transaction input and lifecycle integrity. Investigate, resolve, and escalate cash, system, transactional, data, and reconciliation breaks. Respond to payment and transaction-related inquiries in a timely manner. Provide clients with guidance on payment formats, cut-off times, & regulatory requirements Support onboarding activities, ensuring correct setup of accounts and payment channels. Manage a client portfolio or asset class as part of team rotation. Ensure compliance with internal policies & external regulations (AML, Sanctions) To Be Successful, you will have: 2+ years’ experience in an operations role within Corporate, Wholesale or Institutional Banking Knowledge of Wholesale Banking products including, Corporate Lending products, Trade and Commodity Finance, Value Chain Finance. Knowledge of settlements and payments systems (SWIFT, RTGS, FPS, CNAPS, Direct Entry) Excellent attention to detail & an ability to work to a high level of accuracy Strong communication & stakeholder management skills An ability to prioritise, manage pressure, & meet strict deadlines Customer-focused mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach Previous experience supporting countries within Asia Pacific preferable Mandarin or Cantonese language skills preferred Willingness & ability to work 12:30pm - 9pm Monday to Friday (mix of in office & at home) What we're proud to offer you: Wellbeing leave .
