About the On-Call Mental Health Delegate Role As an On-Call Mental Health Delegate within our County Programs team, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals in crisis by coordinating emergency mental health services. This position is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, confident working independently, and passionate about helping people access the right care at the right time. Starting Rate: $18/hour, based on experience and qualifications On-Call Mental Health Delegate Core Responsibilities Provide emergency mental health delegate services across Centre County Coordinate inpatient care and hospitalization when needed Communicate with local crisis providers, emergency services, and hospitals Ensure individuals are advised of their rights during the process Maintain clear and timely documentation Advocate for access to appropriate care and support What You Bring High School Diploma or equivalent At least one year of experience in the human services field Ability to remain responsive, ethical, and organized in high-pressure situations Strong communication and collaboration skills A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Who Thrives in This Role We’ve found that people who are: Independent Trustworthy Team players with strong ethics …tend to thrive in this role.
