About The Role
We're looking for an experienced
On Site Representative (OSR) to join our team in
Belmont on a
full-time permanent basis.
This is a unique hybrid role combining operational coordination, customer service, warehouse support and driver leadership. You'll be based at one of our customer's sites, acting as the key link between the customer, delivery partners and Team Global Express to ensure freight is coordinated safely, efficiently and on time.
This role requires someone who enjoys working both in the office and on the warehouse floor and is confident leading day-to-day transport operations.
Working hours: 7.00am-3.00pm
What You'll Do
- Coordinate daily freight allocations to delivery vehicles
- Prepare and stage freight for dispatch and check for damage
- Build strong working relationships with the customer and delivery partners
- Coordinate backup vehicles and manage daily operational requirements
- Monitor driver performance, attendance and compliance
- Deliver toolbox talks and support driver training
- Ensure deliveries are completed within agreed service levels
- Respond to customer enquiries and resolve operational issues
- Monitor scanning compliance, POD retrieval and operational reporting
- Assist with warehouse duties, stock on hand management and freight returns
- Maintain compliance with safety, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and customer procedures
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in transport, logistics or fleet operations
- Experience leading or coordinating drivers and daily transport activities
- Forklift Licence (essential)
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Ability to prioritise and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Good computer and reporting skills
- Current Driver's Licence
- A hands-on approach with the ability to work across both operational and warehouse environments
