Role Description This full-time remote role is for an Online English Instructor who delivers engaging, learner-centered lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels. The instructor will plan and facilitate live online classes, using digital tools and interactive activities to build learners’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson materials, assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance. The role also involves collaborating with academic teams to refine curricula, participating in training sessions, and supporting learners through online communication channels. Instructors are expected to foster an inclusive, motivating virtual classroom environment and uphold Upedia Academy’s educational standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Strong English language proficiency and effective communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to diverse age groups and proficiency levels.
• Experience teaching English online or in-person, ideally in small group or one-to-one settings, using interactive and learner-focused methods.
• Ability to design or adapt lesson plans and materials, integrate multimedia resources, and use digital platforms for live instruction and learner engagement.
• Comfort with educational technology, virtual classroom tools, and learning management systems, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices in an international environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field; TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or equivalent teaching certification is highly beneficial.
• Reliable internet connection and appropriate equipment for remote teaching, along with the ability to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones.
• Previous experience with language training, academic programs, or educational travel organizations is a plus. In
