Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Online Tutor (Malaysian) to join Mixt Academy as an online tutor for IGCSE/GCSE, O/A Level students. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver interactive and effective online lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach any subjects to IGCSE/GCSE students via online platforms.
• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to student needs.
• Provide guidance on exam techniques and past paper practice.
• Assess student progress and give constructive feedback.
• Motivate and support students to achieve top results.

Requirements:

• Fluency in spoken and written Malay is required to effectively teach students.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in English/Math or a related field.
• Candidates who have themselves completed O and A Levels, IGCSE/GCSE will be given priority.
• Previous teaching/tutoring experience at O/A Level is highly preferred.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written).
• Reliable internet connection and familiarity with online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students

NOTE: (We are looking for tutors familiar with the Malaysian education system and fluent in Malay to support students based in Malaysia.
