Operational Excellence Manager （Japan VSS）

Your role

Join Edwards Japan as a Operational Excellence Manager and play a pivotal role in advancing our Vacuum Technique business. Reporting directly to the Service Operations Manager you will lead regional service operations by designing and executing strategies that promote efficiency, high-quality service delivery, and an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Developing and driving strategic service operations plans that align tightly with organizational goals, fostering business growth and operational agility.
• Leading, coaching, and inspiring a diverse team of service professionals to exceed performance benchmarks and embrace continuous improvement practices.
• Ensuring excellence in service delivery by monitoring operational metrics to guarantee prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
• Partnering closely with sales, product development, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams to enhance overall service offerings and deepen customer engagement.
• Utilizing regional market insights and customer feedback to continually innovate service processes and optimize resource allocation.
• Maintaining strict adherence to corporate policies, health and safety standards, and relevant regulations across all service operations.

We seek candidates who demonstrate a strong dedication to operational excellence and team leadership, supported by a diverse range of experiences. Ideal qualifications include:

• 5 to 8 years of progressively responsible experience managing service operations within technology-focused or industrial sectors.
• Expertise in leveraging operational management tools and adopting data-driven approaches to enhance decision-making processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate and build trust with internal teams and external clients.
• A proven track record working within multicultural environments and managing inclusive teams to achieve shared goals.
• Proficiency in both Japanese and English at a business communication level, enabling seamless interaction across diverse stakeholders.
