InPost Iberia

Is this job info correct?

Operations Automation & AI Specialist Everything you are looking for and more 📦 InPost Iberia is one of the fastest-growing markets in the InPost Group. As the network scales, so does the complexity of how we operate across deployment, field service, vendor coordination, and cross-functional workflows. Many of our current processes are manual, fragmented, and slow. We want to change that. The Operations Automation & AI Specialis t is a new role inside the Network Operations enabling team, reporting directly to the Head of Network Operations. This is not a consultancy position — it is a hands-on technical role for someone who builds things. You will map how we work today, identify inefficiencies, design smarter processes, and use AI and automation as the primary levers for improvement. You will work closely with the Data & Controlling Specialist and the Project Specialist within the enabling team, and engage cross-functionally with Strategy, Tech, and Expansion. Your output is working tools and automated processes that change how the team operates — not documents that sit in folders. What responsibilities and objectives will you have? Process Improvement & Operational Excellence Map current workflows across Deployment and Service, identifying bottlenecks, manual workarounds, and inefficiencies. Design and implement improved processes, building the business case with quantified impact before committing to change. Develop and maintain operational standards, SOPs, and the team process library in collaboration with team leads. Define improvement KPIs and track whether changes deliver the expected results. AI & Automation Implementation Identify where AI and automation can replace or improve manual, repetitive, or error-prone steps across Network Operations. Design and deploy AI-powered solutions including internal assistants, automated reporting, intelligent alerts, document generation, and data agents. Build end-to-end automated workflows connecting multiple tools using platforms such as Power Automate, n8n, Zapier, or equivalent. Design, prototype, and deploy AI agents tailored to operational use cases, including RAG architectures, knowledge bases, and conversational agents. Build and maintain API integrations between internal and third-party systems to enable automated data pipelines. Prototype quickly, test with the team, iterate continuously — AI as a practical operational lever, not just a project. Tool Ownership & Standards Own the operational tool stack of Network Operations, including configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Pipedrive, Power Automate, and internal systems. Lead standardisation of tools and processes in alignment with Group guidelines while adapting them to the Iberian context. Document configurations, workflows, and processes to ensure knowledge is captured and transferable. Proactively evaluate and recommend new tools that could improve InPost Iberia operations. Enabling Team & Cross-functional Collaboration Work as an integrated member of the enabling team, supporting the Data & Controlling Specialist on data pipeline automation and dashboard infrastructure, and the Project Specialist on reporting automation and communication tooling. Act as the technical bridge between Deployment, Service, and other InPost Iberia departments. Collaborate with Group Operations and Excellence teams on network-wide standards, translating them locally and sharing Iberian learnings back upstream. Well, what will the requirements be? Essential 3–5 years of experience in process automation, operational excellence, business transformation, or technical operations roles. Hands-on experience with workflow automation platforms such as Power Automate, n8n, Zapier, or equivalent. Practical experience designing and deploying AI agents, including memory management, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, and function calling. Understanding of APIs and ability to build integrations between third-party services and internal systems. Experience mapping, redesigning, and documenting business processes. Familiarity with LLM capabilities and agentic frameworks such as LangChain or similar. Strong analytical and structured approach, with the ability to quantify impact, communicate clearly, and build business cases. Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Fluent in English and Spanish. Nice to Have Background in logistics, last-mile delivery, or field operations. Experience working in Group or multi-market environments, adapting central standards locally. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar operational excellence methodologies. Comfortable working with data, including building analysis in Excel and interpreting operational dashboards. Experience configuring and customising CRM systems such as Pipedrive, HubSpot, or equivalent. Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered. What do we offer? Language platform Wellbeing programme Flexible working hours Online platform for lifelong learning Competitive salary Flexible remuneration services can be contracted Why join us? At InPost, you will play a key role in shaping how millions of customers interact with last-mile delivery solutions. You will work in a fast-growing, innovative environment where your contributions directly support the company’s expansion and market presence.
