About the role

The Operations Execution Manager is a senior operational SME responsible for leading the execution of operational interventions across the Datacentre Physical Security program, providing focused delivery of site security lockdown readiness, post-lockdown stabilisation, site start-up support, and targeted performance improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Operations Support Manager, this role manages Operations Intervention Specialists (OIS), the Regional Operations Coordinator (ROC), and Operations Lockdown Specialists (OLS), translating program strategy into practical execution across planning, readiness, and on-the-ground delivery. The role is accountable for high-risk, time-critical operations and works closely with senior regional leadership, site teams, client stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to ensure consistent application of program standards across supported locations.

What you will do

In this role, you will lead end-to-end execution of operational interventions, site start-ups, lockdown readiness, lockdown execution oversight, and post-lockdown stabilization. You will support sites on operational readiness, consistent execution, and effective issue resolution.

You will proactively manage and deploy OIS, ROC, and OLS resources across regions to support high-risk sites, emerging needs, and workload balance. Partnering with Senior Operations Support Manager, Regional Security Managers, and site leadership, you will monitor site performance, identify improvement opportunities, validate readiness, and support corrective action plans that address operational gaps and performance risks.

You will conduct SOP and baseline compliance reviews, assess audit readiness, facilitate operational reviews and readiness meetings, and ensure identified gaps are assigned to the appropriate owners, tracked through resolution, and escalated when accountability is missed. During go-lives, lockdowns, and major escalations, you will provide leadership, real-time decision support, and clear communication across Securitas leadership, client stakeholders, and field teams.

You will coach site managers, officers, and intervention teams on operational best practices, service delivery, compliance adherence, workplace culture, and employee engagement, helping teams implement practical and sustainable improvements. You will also provide regular status updates, intervention reporting, risk summaries, and performance insights to operational and program leadership.

In partnership with Compliance, EHS, Training, PMO, regional leaders, and client stakeholders, you will develop scalable solutions that improve operational performance, strengthen the employee and client experience, capture lessons learned, identify systemic issues, maintain intervention records and audit trails, and translate continuous improvement insights into program standards and operating models.

What you need to apply

We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and self-directed leader with a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and a minimum of five years of security operations, program management, or operational leadership experience. Experience in high-risk operational environments, people management, multi-stakeholder delivery, datacentre operations, contract security, and cross-regional execution is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate is highly organised, analytical, and comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution. This role requires strong leadership, decision-making, risk management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, build effective relationships across diverse cultures, manage multiple priorities, and operate with professionalism and confidentiality in sensitive, high-pressure, or fast-moving situations.

This position involves travel (approximately 40% of the time), so a passion for travel (and a valid passport) is essential. This role may also have to work nights and weekends to support high-priority events and off-hours incidents.
