Behind every channel that publishes like clockwork, there's someone who makes the clock work. We're looking for an Operations Manager to be that person for Spike — the one who plans production across both long and short formats, builds the processes that keep scripts, animation, editing, and publishing flowing without bottlenecks, and treats every saved hour and smoother handoff as a personal win. If you get real satisfaction from a well-run pipeline and a schedule everyone actually hits, this role was written for you. What You Will Do: Own Spike's production calendar for both long-form episodes and Shorts: set capacity, timelines, and dependencies so releases actually hit on schedule; Map out how a video moves from idea to published: who's responsible at each stage, where handoffs happen between writers, animators, and editors, and write it down so it holds up when things get busy or someone new joins; Find where the pipeline wastes time (bottlenecks, redundant steps, dead waiting), fix them, and show the before/after. You'll work with our AI-first workflows and help decide where automation is actually worth building; Keep output steady week to week: track progress against plan, catch risk early, and get things back on track before a deadline slips; Run the planning sessions, status reviews, and retros that keep the Spike team and the rest of the company (analytics, platform, HR) in sync on what's needed and when; Build dashboards on output, cycle times, and capacity that actually get used to make decisions, not just glanced at once. What We Expect: 3+ years in operations, production, or project management - ideally somewhere where things ship on a schedule: video, animation, or another content pipeline; A real example of a process you built or fixed that measurably improved output, speed, or consistency; You can turn a content strategy into a production calendar with actual capacity and dependencies mapped; You notice friction other people have stopped seeing, and it bothers you enough to fix it; Comfortable with tools like Notion, Asana, Jira, ClickUp, and spreadsheets. Bonus if you've used AI tools to speed up a workflow; You back decisions with data, and you build the tracking yourself instead of waiting on someone else for it; You can get creatives, editors, and leadership aligned on one plan without becoming the bottleneck yourself; Fluency in English; Bonus points for: experience in YouTube or social video production pipelines; familiarity with animation production stages; experience introducing AI or automation into a production workflow; Lean/process improvement background.
