Your Role
As a Optical Assistant, you will:
Help customers choose frame styles, lens options, and navigate the website.
Read, verify, and explain vision prescriptions before processing orders.
Answer customer questions about orders, shipping updates, and delivery delays.
Handle customer complaints, exchanges, refunds, and order cancellations.
Log all customer interactions and case details in Salesforce Service Cloud.
Share customer feedback with product and marketing teams to improve services.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
Ability to read and verify vision prescriptions and lens specifications.
Experience using Salesforce Service Cloud or similar ticketing tools.
Strong written and spoken communication skills for customer support.
Problem-solving skills to handle customer issues and complaints calmly.
Commitment to keeping customer personal and financial data secure.
Preferred Skills/expertise
Prior work experience in a retail optical shop, optometry clinic, or eyewear brand.
Strong attention to detail when checking prescription numbers (Sphere, Cylinder, Axis, PD).
Experience with online store ordering, returns, and shipping tracking systems.
Ability to speak and write in more than one language
