Job Description:

Seeking a skilled Oracle DBA with Java Application Support experience to provide operational support monitoring troubleshooting and maintenance of Oracle databases and Javabased applications in production and nonproduction environments. The candidate should possess strong Oracle database administration skills along with experience supporting JavaJ2EE applications on LinuxWindows platforms Spanish speaking is must

Oracle DBA

• Monitor and maintain Oracle 19c databases in production and nonproduction environments
• Perform routine database administration activities including user management tablespace management exportimport and health checks
• Troubleshoot database performance issues and assist in optimization activities
• Execute backup and recovery operations using RMAN
• Monitor Oracle Data Guard environments and resolve replication issues
• Support database patching upgrades and migration activities
• Analyze Oracle alert logs trace files and performance reports
• Resolve incidents service requests and production issues within defined SLAs
• Participate in root cause analysis RCA and problem management activities

Java Application Support

• Provide L2 support for JavaJ2EE applications running on WebLogic Tomcat or JBoss
• Monitor application availability performance and resource utilization
• Troubleshoot application startup deployment and connectivity issues
• Diagnose JDBC connection problems between applications and Oracle databases
• Analyze application and server logs to identify and resolve issues
• Support application deployments and release validation activities
• Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and escalations
• Perform basic codelevel analysis using logs and stack traces
• Operational Responsibilities
• Participate in 24x7 oncall and production support rotations
• Follow ITIL processes for Incident Problem Change and Service Request Management
• Create and maintain SOPs Knowledge Articles and operational documentation
• Support automation and scripting initiatives using Shell Python or SQL scripts
• Ensure compliance with organizational security and audit requirements
