Oracle Primavera Systems Analyst - Remote OM Group, Inc . is hiring an Oracle Primavera Systems Analyst to support the modernization of a large-scale enterprise project controls environment. This position will play a key role in migrating historical and active project portfolio data from legacy Oracle Primavera P6/EPPM systems to Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC). We are looking for someone who understands Primavera as a system, not just as an end user. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of Primavera technical expertise, project controls systems knowledge, and hands-on experience with complex data migration and integration efforts. This role will work closely with technical teams, project controls stakeholders, and Government personnel to ensure that project structures, schedules, financial data, historical records, UDFs, and related information are migrated accurately and validated throughout the transition. Responsibilities Support end-to-end migration of project portfolio data from Oracle Primavera P6/EPPM and Primavera Data Warehouse environments to Oracle Primavera Cloud Analyze legacy Primavera databases, data structures, project configurations, UDFs, custom business logic, and system relationships Develop source-to-target schema mappings and transformation rules for migration into the OPC environment Build and execute data migration and conversion processes using SQL, APIs, scripting, ETL tools, and approved integration technologies Perform data profiling and cleansing to identify duplicate, incomplete, inconsistent, obsolete, or orphaned records prior to migration Work with technical and functional stakeholders to resolve data quality issues and determine appropriate treatment of legacy data Support migration of project structures, schedules, activities, relationships, resources, calendars, codes, cost and financial information, UDFs, and historical data Develop solutions for legacy customizations and business logic that cannot be directly replicated in Oracle Primavera Cloud Use Primavera APIs, web services, or related integration tools to support data extraction, transformation, loading, and validation Execute mock migrations and migration rehearsals in test environments prior to production cutover Monitor migration performance, API limitations, load metrics, failures, and data exceptions and optimize migration processes as needed Troubleshoot migration, mapping, transformation, integration, and reconciliation issues. Perform post-migration validation using row counts, field-level comparisons, financial roll-ups, project structures, scheduling relationships, and other reconciliation techniques Confirm that migrated data maintains relational integrity, historical accuracy, scheduling logic, and financial consistency Document data mappings, transformation rules, migration procedures, exceptions, cleansing activities, reconciliation results, and validation findings Support final production cutover, migration validation, issue resolution, and transition to the modernized Oracle Primavera Cloud environment. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, or a related technical field. Four additional years of directly relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Minimum 5 years of professional experience supporting enterprise applications, data migration, data integration, data engineering, project controls systems, or similar technical environments Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera P6, Primavera P6 EPPM, or a comparable enterprise Primavera environment Demonstrated knowledge of Primavera P6/EPPM data structures, project hierarchies, schedules, activities, relationships, calendars, codes, resources, cost data, UDFs, and enterprise configuration Hands-on experience performing enterprise data migration, data conversion, application modernization, or system transition activities Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases Experience with source-to-target schema mapping, data transformation, ETL/ELT, or scripted data conversion processes Experience using REST APIs, web services, or other application integration interfaces Experience with data profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation Experience supporting test migrations, mock conversions, migration rehearsals, or production cutovers Ability to troubleshoot complex data discrepancies and determine whether issues originate in source data, transformation logic, integrations, configuration, or the target environment Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, project controls professionals, program leadership, and Government stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera Cloud Experience migrating data from Oracle Primavera P6/EPPM to Oracle Primavera Cloud Experience with Primavera Data Warehouse or Primavera Analytics Experience with Oracle Primavera Cloud APIs, Primavera P6 Web Services, or other Primavera integration technologies Experience with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages Experience with ETL, enterprise integration, or cloud data integration platforms Experience migrating complex Primavera UDFs, custom configurations, integrations, extensions, or business logic Experience supporting project controls systems within engineering, construction, infrastructure, utilities, or large capital programs Experience supporting Federal Government, DoD, or USACE programs Knowledge of enterprise project portfolio management, scheduling, cost management, earned value, or related project controls disciplines Experience developing formal Data Migration Plans, Data Cleansing Reports, Data Validation Reports, or similar technical migration deliverables Federal Secret Security Clearance or US Citizen eligible for clearance OM Group, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) committed to compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
