Order Management Specialist

Wavelynx Technologies is a global leader in the access control industry, specializing in the design and manufacturing of cutting-edge electronics for credentialing and access control. Reporting to the Director of Inside Sales, the Order Management Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders, ensuring timely delivery, and customer satisfaction. This role is 4 days in the office, 1 day remote. Duties/Responsibilities Receives and prepares requests from the sales team or customers for sales orders, order adjustments, and order cancellations. Will use a computer system to retrieve necessary customer information, inventory information, and purchase order status. Provides pricing, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and other order information to the sales team. Works closely with the supply chain department to ensure customer orders can be met within the specified time frame. Maintains files of active orders and updates with changes to orders. Accurately maintains customer accounts to ensure billing information is correct. Communicates effectively with sales, supply chain, and accounting departments. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy are required. Proficient computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet software, and database applications. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
