Organic Content Lead (YouTube & Instagram)
Own the organic content strategy and growth across our core social channels

Team: Works directly with the Video Editor, Media Buyer, and Design
About The Company
We are a rapidly growing U.S.-based company in the fintech and digital investing-education space, now expanding into a new software brand. Our growth is powered by a high-performing content and paid-acquisition engine: long-form video, short-form social, and conversion-focused funnels that turn audience attention into qualified customers. As we scale, the same core marketing team supports both our established education brand and our new software product. This is a fast-moving, direct-response environment where output, iteration, and measurable results matter more than polish for its own sake. Note: this role operates in the crypto and digital-asset education space, so comfort working in that category is important.
About The Role
This role exists because our organic presence has outgrown ad-hoc ownership. We are scaling YouTube and Instagram across two brands, and we need one person who owns the strategy end to end rather than a set of disconnected contributors. You will set the content direction, run the publishing engine, and be accountable for channel growth and engagement.
You are the strategic owner of everything organic: what we publish, why, how it is packaged, and how it performs. You will direct the video editor on what to produce, optimize each channel and post for reach and retention, and turn one core long-form video per week into a full slate of distributed short-form content. Success is measured in channel growth, watch time, and engagement, not volume for its own sake.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Strategy & Ownership
- Own the organic content strategy across YouTube and Instagram for both brands, including cadence, formats, and content pillars.
- Optimize channel profiles, bios, playlists, and positioning for discovery and conversion.
- Maintain a forward content calendar and keep the pipeline full and on schedule.
Packaging & Growth
- Own titles, thumbnails, hooks, and descriptions; test and iterate to improve click-through and retention.
- Apply platform best practices and current trends to grow reach without diluting the professional, credible brand voice.
Repurposing & Distribution
- Turn one weekly long-form video into a slate of short-form clips distributed across Instagram and other short-form surfaces.
- Direct the video editor on clip selection, framing, and priorities.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track retention, CTR, follower growth, and engagement; report on what is working and adjust strategy accordingly.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated track record growing YouTube and Instagram channels (please include channels you have owned or led).
- Strong grasp of hooks, retention, thumbnails, and short-form distribution mechanics.
- Ability to direct editors and creative talent, not just produce content personally.
- Data-driven: comfortable making decisions from channel analytics.
- Excellent written English and clear communication for a remote team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in direct-response, creator-economy, high-ticket, or info-product environments.
- Comfort with crypto, fintech, or investing content.
- Experience growing a founder-led personal brand.
