Role Description

We are seeking a strategic, people-focused, and analytical Organizational Development Director to support organizational effectiveness, workforce development, employee engagement, leadership initiatives, and continuous improvement programs. This role focuses on strengthening organizational capabilities, improving internal processes, supporting talent development, and helping teams align their performance with broader business objectives.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of organizational development strategies, programs, frameworks, and initiatives. You will work with leadership and cross-functional teams to understand organizational priorities, identify development opportunities, and support initiatives designed to improve employee capability, collaboration, engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness.

The role involves assessing organizational needs through employee feedback, performance information, engagement data, organizational metrics, surveys, interviews, and other relevant sources. You will analyze findings, identify recurring themes, and support the development of practical recommendations for improving workplace processes, team effectiveness, communication, and employee development.

You will support learning and development initiatives by coordinating training programs, leadership development activities, career development frameworks, competency models, mentoring programs, onboarding improvements, and other employee development solutions. You will help ensure learning initiatives are aligned with organizational goals and measurable outcomes.

The position requires supporting change management activities related to organizational restructuring, new processes, technology adoption, business transformation, cultural initiatives, and other organizational changes. You will assist with communication plans, stakeholder engagement, change readiness assessments, implementation activities, and feedback collection.

You will collaborate with HR, senior leadership, managers, learning and development teams, talent management, employee experience, and business functions to coordinate organizational development initiatives. You will facilitate meetings, workshops, surveys, focus groups, and feedback sessions to gather insights and encourage employee participation.

The role also involves developing organizational reports, dashboards, presentations, workforce insights, and performance summaries. You will monitor indicators such as employee engagement, retention, learning participation, internal mobility, organizational effectiveness, and development program outcomes.

You will support the design and improvement of organizational policies, processes, competency frameworks, career pathways, performance management practices, and employee development programs. You will identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen collaboration, and improve employee experiences.

The position encourages the use of HR technology, people analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, employee feedback platforms, and digital learning solutions to improve organizational development activities. You will evaluate relevant tools and support data-driven approaches to workforce and organizational improvement.

You will maintain appropriate documentation, project plans, program materials, reports, and organizational development records while ensuring confidential employee information is handled responsibly.

Strong strategic thinking, communication, analytical ability, leadership, collaboration, organization, and change management skills are essential for supporting meaningful organizational development initiatives and creating a more effective, adaptable, and engaged organization.

Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of organizational development, employee development, talent management, change management, and organizational effectiveness principles.
  • Knowledge of employee engagement, leadership development, learning and development, competency frameworks, performance management, and career development.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret employee feedback, organizational metrics, survey results, and workforce data.
  • Ability to identify organizational challenges and develop practical recommendations for improvement.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple organizational development initiatives and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to organize and support workshops, meetings, focus groups, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.
  • Understanding of change management principles and organizational transformation processes.
  • Familiarity with HRIS, talent management systems, learning management systems, employee engagement platforms, and people analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, presentation tools, spreadsheets, and collaboration platforms.
  • Ability to prepare organizational development reports, presentations, dashboards, surveys, and analytical summaries.
  • Strong attention to detail when managing organizational data, program documentation, project plans, and employee-related information.
  • Understanding of confidentiality, data privacy, ethical HR practices, and responsible handling of employee information.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with HR, leadership, managers, learning teams, talent management, and business functions.
  • Familiarity with people analytics, workforce analytics, employee experience technologies, and HR automation is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence, digital learning, automation, and emerging HR technologies is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to approach organizational challenges objectively.
  • Ability to develop structured strategies, action plans, timelines, and measurable objectives for organizational initiatives.
  • Strong adaptability and willingness to learn new organizational development methodologies, HR technologies, and workplace practices.
  • Professionalism, integrity, accountability, discretion, and commitment to supporting positive organizational outcomes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote and digitally connected environment using communication, collaboration, and project management tools.
  • Strong interest in improving employee experiences, organizational capability, leadership effectiveness, and long-term business performance.
