Position Information Job Title: Outbound Cold Caller Department: Credit Suite Reports To: Sales Team Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Remote - Kingston & St. Andrew Job Summary The Outbound Cold Caller is responsible for generating sales opportunities through proactive outbound calling to prospective and existing clients. The role involves initiating conversations, identifying customer needs, qualifying prospects, presenting products and services, handling objections, closing sales when applicable, and scheduling qualified appointments. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, persuasive, confident, and results-driven sales professional who is comfortable making high-volume outbound calls, handling rejection, building rapport, and working toward measurable sales and productivity targets. Work Schedule Schedule: Monday to Friday, any shift between 7:00 AM–6:00 PM Employment Type: Full-Time Hours: Based on client and operational requirements Flexibility: Required based on campaign and business needs Essential Job Functions Listed in order of importance with approximate percentage of time. Total equals 100%. Outbound Sales & Lead Generation – 25% Make high-volume outbound calls. Generate interest and identify customer needs. Qualify prospects and create sales opportunities. Sales & Closing – 20% Present products and services. Communicate value and benefits. Handle objections and identify buying signals. Close sales when applicable and achieve assigned sales targets. Appointment Setting & Qualification – 15% Qualify prospects and schedule appointments. Collect required prospect information. Communicate appointment details and complete confirmation follow-up. Follow-Up & Lead Management – 10% Conduct timely follow-ups and re-engage leads. Maintain contact throughout the sales cycle. Ensure qualified opportunities are properly progressed. Objection Handling & Customer Engagement – 10% Address customer concerns professionally. Use approved rebuttals and sales techniques. Build rapport and maintain a positive customer experience. CRM & Documentation – 8% Accurately document calls, dispositions, appointments, follow-ups, sales opportunities, and customer information in designated systems. Process & Compliance – 7% Follow approved scripts, sales processes, qualification procedures, company policies, and client requirements. Implement coaching and performance feedback. Performance & Productivity – 5% Meet established call volume, sales, conversion, quality, attendance, follow-up, and productivity expectations. Required Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Additional training or coursework in Sales, Customer Service, or a related field is an advantage. Experience Minimum one (1) year of direct sales experience. Experience in B2B Lead Generation, Sales Development Representative (SDR), Outbound Cold Calling, Sales Retention, or a related sales role is preferred. Proven experience in a sales-focused environment. Experience making high-volume outbound calls is strongly preferred. Experience working toward sales, conversion, or productivity targets. Experience with CRM systems, dialers, or lead-management platforms is an advantage. Technical Skills Strong computer literacy. Ability to navigate multiple software applications. Ability to accurately enter and maintain customer information. Ability to learn new software and systems quickly. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is an advantage. Preferred Qualifications Previous B2B sales or lead generation experience. Experience in a high-volume outbound sales environment. Experience meeting or exceeding sales quotas or conversion targets. Experience with CRM and sales-management platforms. Experience handling sales objections and closing transactions. Work Conditions / Physical Demands / Travel Requirements This position operates in a professional remote sales environment and requires: Extended periods of telephone and computer use. High-volume outbound calling throughout the workday. Sustained concentration during customer interactions. Ability to work toward daily, weekly, and monthly targets. Reliable internet and functioning equipment throughout scheduled hours. Travel is not normally required unless requested based on business or client needs.
