What We’re Looking For Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Paralegal to join our team! The Paralegal provides legal and administrative support to the Legal and Compliance Department by assisting attorneys with litigation, administrative proceedings, regulatory matters, contracts, public records requests, real estate transactions and other legal matters affecting the organization. The Paralegal serves as an important resource to the Legal and Compliance Department by coordinating legal and compliance projects, conducting research, preparing legal documents, managing discovery, maintaining litigation files and ensuring timely responses to legal, compliance and regulatory deadlines. On a typical day, you might: Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, administrative appeals and proceedings, mediations, and contested cases. Communicate with insurance carriers, counsel, governmental agencies and third parties regarding subrogation matters. Coordinate responses to public records requests in accordance with applicable law and organizational policy. Maintain legal files, records and document management systems. Preferred: Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved or accredited paralegal program. Experience in healthcare, managed care, government, insurance, or regulatory law. Experience supporting in-house legal counsel. Experience with public records requests, administrative law, and real estate transactions.
