About the Role:

As our Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting our legal activities related to investments across the Netherlands and Germany. Your responsibilities will include reviewing, drafting, and managing legal documents, ensuring seamless onboarding of new team members, and assisting with transaction closings. You will work closely with the investment team to ensure compliance, efficiency, and accuracy in all legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and review legal documents such as NDAs, engagement letters, resolutions, and transfer agreements, primarily utilizing templates.
• Assist in onboarding new team members, coordinating necessary internal approvals and documentation.
• Manage the signing process and logistics to ensure smooth closing of investment transactions.
• Monitor legal updates relevant to Dutch and German law to keep the legal processes compliant and current.
• Maintain accurate records of board compositions for portfolio companies.
• Support the investment team with day-to-day legal needs, ensuring processes are streamlined through legal automation tools.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience: 3+ years working within corporate law, preferably in law firms, private equity, or investment environments.
• Education: Law degree in Dutch (HBO-Recht or similar) and/or German law (Wirtschaftsjurist or comparable qualification).
• Languages: Proficiency in Dutch and German; fluency in English is essential for communication across international teams.
• Skills: Strong contract review abilities, excellent organizational skills, and familiarity with legal documentation management.
• Tech-savvy: Comfortable using legal automation platforms and process optimization tools to improve efficiency.
• Personal Attributes: Discretion, attention to detail, proactive mindset, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Preferred Extras:

• Knowledge of Dutch and German legal frameworks.
• Experience supporting investment transactions or private equity deals.
• Additional familiarity with legal tech tools for automation and process improvement.

• Based in Amsterdam, with flexibility for local or remote work arrangements.
