Paralegal (Defense Firm) Litigation Paralegal Career Consulting Partners is currently partnering with a preeminent, highly decorated law firm specializing in Civil Litigation defense. We're looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to work directly with our trial attorneys across every stage of defense litigation, from discovery through trial. You'll carry real case responsibility, not just paperwork. Responsibilities: Draft and file pleadings, motions, and appellate documents Manage discovery (interrogatories, RFPs, subpoenas, and record review) Prepare trial materials: exhibits, evidence binders, briefs, and appendices Coordinate with attorneys, clients, experts, and court personnel Support trial, deposition, mediation, and hearing prep Requirements: 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, including tracking billable time California paralegal qualification under the Business and Professions Code Solid grasp of litigation procedure, discovery practice, and court rules Sharp written communication and strong organizational skills Preferred: defense litigation background Compensation & Benefits: Compensation Range: $80,000 - $95,000 Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, 401(k), and more Paid vacation and sick leave Paid Parking A respectful, collegial environment that supports work-life balance and long-term career satisfaction Ranked in the Chambers and Partners Spotlight Guide (Construction & Insurance Law), named a "Best Law Firm" by Best Lawyers® , and holds the highest possible Martindale-Hubbell rating.
