Our fast-growing law firm in Phoenix, AZ is committed to humanitarian-based immigration and finding innovative solutions for seemingly impossible problems. Are you ready to join one of the fastest-growing law firms in the US, where incredible opportunities await? Here, we don't just offer a job: we provide an environment that challenges you to become the best version of yourself and helps others do the same. This is an opportunity as a people developer, coaching, guiding, and empowering legal support teams to do their best work while attorneys focus entirely on legal strategy. You'll build the culture, accountability, and systems that make operational excellence possible. Removal Defense Paralegal Supervisor Role Objective The Removal Defense Paralegal Supervisor leads and develops the removal defense legal support team, ensuring the coaching, resources, and accountability needed to deliver exceptional client service in high-stakes immigration proceedings. Responsibilities / Duties Conduct weekly 1-on-1 meetings, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management. Identify training needs specific to removal defense workflows and coordinate skill development. Conduct performance reviews, contribute to compensation recommendations, and address team matters in coordination with firm leadership. Ensure team members follow strict checklists for EOIR/ICE filings, hearing preparation, and calendar workflows. Audit work quality, track KPIs, and identify process bottlenecks, recommending improvements to leadership. Take escalated client calls with empathy and de-escalation, and provide real-time guidance to team members on difficult client interactions. Resolve operational and client service issues at the supervisor level, preventing unnecessary attorney involvement. Requirements 3–5 years managing teams of 5–10 people in high-volume, deadline-driven environments. 3-5 years of immigration law experience, EOIR, or removal defense. Proven track record of coaching, developing, and holding direct reports accountable through 1-on-1s, performance reviews, and difficult conversations. Strong understanding of how to enforce checklists, SOPs, and quality control systems in a compliance-critical environment. High emotional intelligence, resilience, and conflict resolution ability. Mission-driven mindset aligned with serving immigrant communities. Bilingual (Spanish/English) required, native or professional fluency. Must work Arizona business hours (8 AM – 5 PM MST); reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office required. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing bilingual or remote teams. Experience with legal case management systems such as Filevine or similar platforms. Offer Compensation: $27,000 - $32,000 MXN pesos monthly. 8:00am to 5:00pm AZ Time. Remote Work.
