What you'll be doing As a Paraplanner, you'll provide technical research, analysis and report-writing support to our Financial Advisers, helping to deliver compliant, high-quality financial planning advice to clients. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting advisers with client reviews through the effective use of financial planning technology and systems. Conducting detailed research and analysis of financial products, investment solutions and planning strategies. Performing technical calculations, including Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Inheritance Tax (IHT) and pension contribution analysis. Gathering, reviewing and maintaining accurate client documentation within our CRM systems to support recommendations and advice. Preparing clear, compliant and comprehensive suitability reports in a timely manner. Keeping up to date with industry regulations, products and market developments to support best practice advice. What you'll need to have Previous experience working as a Paraplanner within a financial planning or wealth management environment. A strong understanding of financial planning principles, products and regulatory requirements. Experience conducting research, analysing financial information and producing suitability reports. Confidence completing technical financial calculations and interpreting client data. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. What makes you stand out Experience using Intelligent Office, Analytics or Defaqto. A CII Diploma qualification or are actively working towards Chartered Insurance Institute examinations. Knowledge of cashflow modelling software and broader financial planning tools. A proactive approach to learning and professional development. The ability to build strong working relationships with advisers and colleagues while contributing positively to a team environment.
