2026 Development Operations Assistant Job Description, Compensation & Benefits Effective Date: August 2026 Reports to: VP of Development Workload: Part-time, Hourly - 15 hours weekly Location: Remote ; CST zone preferred. Employment Type: Staff | Hourly, PT General Description The Development Operations Assistant supports the development efforts of Acts 29 by managing fundraising systems, donor data, communications, and administrative operations. This role ensures accurate information, effective communication, and efficient processes that strengthen donor engagement and support the ministry's fundraising strategy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Fundraising & Development Responsibilities: Maintain all development records and data, ensure accuracy, analyze, and develop strategy; Run and review quarterly fundraising reports, manage the fundraising data (Salesforce), and run reports as needed; Ensure that gift acknowledgements and donor communications are sent in a timely manner; Partner with the church planting team and global leadership to gather prayer requests and storytelling updates that inform donor communications and ongoing engagement; Coordinate fundraising communications and marketing; track and evaluate results; Review and approve mailing lists for donor communications; Assist with grant proposals, reports, and donor communications; Coordinate cross-functional efforts with Events, Communications, and Finance to ensure alignment, accuracy, and timely execution of Development initiatives Serve as operational assistant for the team, including coordinating projects, recording meeting minutes and decisions, and other duties as assigned Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Policies: Must adhere to Acts 29’s Handbook, Statement of Faith, Information Security Policy, and any additional policies required of Acts 29 staff. Equipment: Must return any Acts 29-purchased equipment upon termination. Support : Must utilize Acts 29’s data, financial, and communication policy systems for Acts 29 operations.
