Part-Time On-Call Staff Environmental Engineer

Who You Are: The position is for a PTOC Staff Environmental Engineer. *This position is contingent upon award. What You’ll Do: Participate in discussions on tasks to develop Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans for fuel and other petroleum liquids storage and use Review draft SPCC Plans and provide comments Review final SPCC Plans Sign and apply Professional Engineer seal to final SPCC Plans Obtain, in a timely manner, Professional Engineer registrations in relevant states through Comity (Reciprocity) Licensure What You’ll Bring: Must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited academic institution. A degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred. Must be currently registered as a Professional Engineer in at least one state. Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Successful results of pre-employment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen. Comply with company drug and alcohol policy. Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate’s start date. Compensation Expected Salary: $65/hour to $80/hour Versar Global Solutions provides the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the Company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
