Key Responsibilities: Answer incoming phone calls from patients, physician offices, and insurance companies. Make outbound calls to patients and physician offices to obtain information or provide case updates. Review case history and insurance correspondence to provide information to callers. Communicate results of a benefit investigation to patients and physicians. Pre-qualify patients for any available financial assistance. Complete special projects assigned by the management. Meet productivity and quality goals set forth by call center management. Participate in team meetings by sharing observed trends and/or recurring issues identified when working cases and handling calls. Other duties as assigned Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED Possess superior customer service skills. Previous call center experience preferred, but not necessary. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to listen and work well with others. Detail oriented. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision. Ability to learn quickly and navigate through different computer applications. Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
