Patient Services Representative Hot Job Apply Apply Description Job Title: Patient Benefits Representative Company : ReveLution, LLC Location: Fully Remote Job Type: Full-Time, M-F Pay Scale: $18.00-$25.00 per hour Job Description: The Patient Benefits Representative serves as a primary point of contact for patients regarding insurance benefits and billing-related inquiries. This role is heavily call-driven and requires excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player who can multitask effectively, work independently, and handle challenges with a poised demeanor and positive attitude. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary handler of incoming patient calls, including answering, triaging, and directing calls in a timely and professional manner • Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information accurately • Review, notate, and verbally explain patient insurance benefits and financial responsibilities • Review, prepare, and submit patient statements • Place follow-up phone calls, text messages, and emails regarding outstanding patient balances • Assist patients with setting up payment plans and navigating available financial assistance programs • Process patient payments securely over the phone • Review incoming patient correspondence and respond appropriately • Answer patient calls related to billing questions with professionalism and empathy • Adjust patient and insurance balances as needed in accordance with policies and guidelines • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve patient account issues efficiently Qualifications Qualifications: • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced, call-driven environment • Independent problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Ability to handle obstacles calmly while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor • Strong organizational skills and follow-through • Customer-service focused mindset with a patient-centered approach • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also managing individual responsibilities Skill Set: • Comfortable and efficient in a work from home setting. • Well-developed self-management skills, including organization and multi-tasking. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and timely manner with all team members remotely through a mix of chat, phone, and webex platforms. • Exemplary customer service skills. • Excellent telephone etiquette and verbal and written communication. • Proficient in computers and navigating various applications (EMRs, Practice Management systems, insurance websites, etc.). • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications Word®, Excel®, PowerPoint®, and Outlook®. • Comfortable working across a wide variety of technology platforms, including web-based portals and applications, and computer software applications. • Proficient in medical insurance benefits and plans. • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid/AHCCCS, and third-party billing practices.
