Payroll works to the same standard. It's the process nobody notices until it goes wrong, and making sure that never happens is what this role exists to do. As our Payroll Analyst, you'll own payroll from end to end and make sure every colleague is paid accurately and on time, every time. It's a hands-on role with genuine scope to shape how we work. Alongside running the monthly cycle, you'll be central to improving our payroll processes and implementing a new payroll provider, so you'll be building the setup we run on next as well as the one we run on now. We're keen to move quickly. We'd like the successful candidate to start in early autumn with a full handover from the person currently in post, so we're especially interested in hearing from people who are immediately available or on a short notice period. We're happy to talk about part time hours for the right person. What you'll be doing Coordinating end to end payroll processing across the full monthly cycle Making sure payroll inputs, reports, calculations and employee changes are accurate, complete and submitted on time Maintaining payroll data and documentation, and reconciling payroll reports Ensuring compliance with tax and employment legislation, GDPR and internal controls Managing pensions and other benefits, including joiners, leavers and contribution changes Responding to payroll queries promptly and professionally, delivering an excellent service to employees and stakeholders across the business Providing information for compliance submissions, audits, PSA and ONS returns Supporting payroll improvements and the implementation of a new payroll provider What we're looking for Essential Experience in payroll processing Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, statutory requirements and compliance obligations Strong attention to detail and a high bar for accuracy Good organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach Desirable Experience automating payroll processes and implementing new payroll providers Experience using payroll systems Equal Opportunity Employer Hawk-Eye is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace. We ensure all employees are treated fairly, regardless of gender, marital status, race, nationality, religion, age, disability, or union membership status. We value diversity and strive to create an environment where everyone can reach their full potential.
