Payroll Analyst

Job Title: Payroll Analyst – Entry Level

Location: Houston, TX (Initially Remote after some time onsite) (Do have Multiple locations all across USA)

Job Summary:

Support accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining employee payroll data and resolving discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with weekly/biweekly payroll processing.
• Review timecards, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and adjustments.
• Perform payroll data validation and reconciliations.
• Maintain employee payroll records and HRIS information.
• Prepare payroll and headcount reports using Excel.
• Assist with payroll taxes, benefits, and year-end activities.
• Resolve employee payroll questions and discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow payroll compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• Microsoft Excel – PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS.
• Basic payroll and reconciliation knowledge.
• Understanding of U.S. payroll taxes and deductions.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with ADP, Workday, UKG, or similar HRIS/payroll systems is a plus.
