We're seeking an experienced Payroll Compliance Analyst to join a busy and collaborative payroll team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and Payroll Systems & Compliance Lead, you'll play a key role in delivering payroll compliance and remediation projects across multiple business units. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a project-focused environment, solving complex payroll issues, and driving compliance outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading and supporting payroll compliance and remediation projects.
Assisting with internal and external audit activities.
Conducting payroll analysis, validation and compliance reviews.
Documenting payroll processes and procedures.
Interpreting and applying Awards, EBAs and payroll legislation.
Supporting ongoing compliance initiatives and BAU payroll activities as required.
Partnering with Finance, HR and key stakeholders to drive compliance outcomes and process improvements.
About You
Extensive payroll experience within complex, multi-entity or multi-site environments, including a minimum of one year's Australian payroll compliance experience in a dedicated compliance-focused role.
Strong understanding of Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
Proven ability to interpret complex Awards and EBAs and apply findings appropriately.
Demonstrated experience working on payroll remediation and compliance projects.
Experience using payroll and workforce management systems such as Chris21, Dimensions, and Workday is highly advantageous.
Proficiency in MS Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis
Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and quickly add value in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
