About The Role
Balfour Beatty are partnering with the MEH Alliance on Hinkley Point C. We are currently looking for a Payroll Coordinator to join the team.
As Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for the collation and management of time and attendance records, ensuring employee timecards are complete and accurate before submission for payroll processing. Working closely with site teams and employees, you will play a key role in supporting payroll operations and resolving pay-related queries.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinate payroll activities using the Kronos Time & Attendance system.
- Add new starters and process leavers within payroll systems.
- Manage sickness, holiday and absence records.
- Process travel, fare and lodge entitlements.
- Investigate and resolve payroll and timesheet queries.
- Process payroll corrections and manual timesheets where required.
- Liaise with supervisors and employees to ensure accurate payroll submissions.
- Support employee wellbeing through the timely resolution of pay-related concerns
Who we're looking for
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and data analysis.
- Previous experience within payroll, recruitment, workforce administration or a high-volume timesheet environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Experience within engineering construction, industrial projects, NAECI or JIB environments would be advantageous.
- Able to obtain a security clearance
