SUMMARY Under supervision, perform administrative related duties related to payroll processing. Responsible for troubleshooting and assisting personnel across the enterprise with payroll related inquiries, garnishments and administering payment programs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Assist personnel at all levels across the enterprise by answering payroll related inquiries. Administer benefit payment programs (e.g. director car stipend, fitness reimbursements, dependent scholarship program). Process garnishment and withholding orders such as tax levies, child support judgments, etc. Assist with the filing of employee records and employment verifications. Serve as back-up to other team members Maintain knowledge of applicable payroll laws as required. Other duties may be assigned. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred. Three (3) to five (5) years experience in a payroll environment preferred. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong organizational, problem resolution, verbal and written communication skills. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and within established deadlines. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in current industry standard PC applications and systems (e.g., Excel, Word, Oracle HCM). Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.
