Payroll Specialist / HR Coordinator

Role Description This part-time remote Payroll Specialist / HR Coordinator role focuses on supporting accurate payroll processing and core HR operations for Ascenda beroepsregister van schooldirecteuren. Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in HR Management and Human Resources (HR) for coordinating day-to-day HR operations.
• Experience with Benefits Administration to manage employee benefits, enrollment, and related inquiries.
• Ability to foster constructive Employee Relations and support a professional, respectful work environment.
• Knowledge of HR Policies and compliance requirements, with the ability to apply and communicate them clearly.
• Proven payroll processing experience, including accuracy in data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks remotely.
• Proficiency with HRIS and payroll software, as well as standard office tools (e.g., Excel, email, document management).
• Solid written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are an asset.
• Relevant education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience.
